Thursday morning was down time so we packed our boxes and went to the post office. We were actually under weight so no stress.
We were collected at 1.30pm and had a one hour drive to Giverny. It was very pleasant. The driver talked the whole way. Talk about information overload!! It was worth it. The gardens were beautiful and we really enjoyed it. Then we had the trip back with more information!! We are experts on nudes and which nudes sent you to gaol and which nudes were OK.
We had a bit of homesick wobbles but we managed to get over it and the day ended well with dinner at Le Voltaire – a swish restaurant just down the street from our hotel.
I love the pictures of you all in the gardens. I can’t believe I haven’t been there! Sarah will have to take me next time we are in Paris. xxxx
